Well, it’s a wedding. What do you expect? Rehearsal dinners? Toasts? Flowers? Flower girls?<\/p>\n

Yeah, we’re not having any of that jibber jabber.<\/p>\n

We’re having a small ceremony at 5:30 PM on April 20, 2013 at the Cedar House in Clearwater, Florida. It’s going to be quick. It’s going to be chill. It might even be funny.<\/p>\n

For anyone attending the big day, the dress code is … relaxed. There will be at least one kilt and a shortage of socks. The temps should be in the 70s, cooler in the evening. There may be mosquitoes and other critters, but we’re well clear of dragon migration season, so unholy fire from the sky should be light and scattered.<\/div><\/div>\n

Weather permitting, we’ll say some words in the back yard in front of a smallish gaggle of friends and family (we’d like to invite errybody<\/em>, but we’d need a venue the size of Rhode Island<\/a>). If the weather is uncooperative, we’ll herd everybody into the house and say some words in there.<\/p>\n

Kari will be dressed in something involving LED lights and a smoke machine [CL – that’s all she’ll tell me anyway] [KG – think this<\/a>\u00a0but you know, classy] and Crawford will be dressed in … I don’t know, clothes of some sort, maybe some nice parachute pants and a shiny top hat.<\/p>\n

Then through the magic of The Law and copious hand waving, suddenly we’ll be united in bonds of whatnot and whosiwhatsits. Yay!<\/p>\n

And then the food.<\/p>\n

And then someone will probably be tossed in the pool.\u00a0\u0ca0_\u0ca0<\/p>\n
